Getting Started
Welcome to HELIX Mission Control — the self-hosted multi-agent orchestration platform. HELIX lets you deploy AI agents across your organization's departments, assign them tasks through Kanban boards, and manage everything from a unified dashboard.
What is HELIX?
HELIX Mission Control is a platform for building and managing an AI agent workforce. Each agent has:
- A role within a department (e.g., "SEO Specialist" in Marketing)
- A system prompt defining its personality and capabilities
- Skills — domain expertise documents that shape how it handles tasks
- Memory — persistent rules and learned behaviors that improve over time
- An AI model — bring your own API key from any supported provider
You create tasks, assign them to agents, and agents execute the work autonomously or on demand. Results appear in task cards on Kanban boards, and your team collaborates through comments and @mentions.
