Workflow Templates

Installing from Marketplace

Pre-built workflow templates are available in the HELIX Marketplace.

Steps

1. Go to Marketplace and filter by type Workflows
2. Click on a workflow template to view details
3. Click Install
4. The installer will:
   • Download the template manifest
   • Check your plan supports workflow installation
   • Map template agent references to your local agents (by marketplace_template_slug)
   • Create the workflow with all steps pre-configured
   • Record the install in your installed templates

Agent Mapping

Workflow templates reference agents by their marketplace template slug. When installing:

• If you've already installed the required agent template, it's auto-mapped
• If not, the agent slot is left unmapped — you'll need to assign a local agent in the builder

Unmapped Agents

After installation, check the builder. Steps with no agent assigned show "Unassigned". Open the config panel and select an agent from the dropdown.

Plan Requirements

• Pro plan — install up to 3 workflow templates
• Scale plan — install up to 20 workflow templates
• Enterprise — unlimited

Installed Workflows

Installed workflow templates appear in your workflow list with a marketplace badge. You can freely edit the workflow after installation — it's a full local copy.
