Connect a Telegram bot to your HELIX instance to create tasks on the go and get real-time notifications about task completions, approval requests, and agent activity — all from your phone.

Features

Setup

1. Create a Telegram bot via @BotFather
2. Copy the bot token into HELIX Settings → Telegram
3. Configure Allowed User IDs to restrict who can interact with the bot
4. Enable notifications for the events you care about

Security

The Allowed User IDs setting ensures only authorized Telegram users can create tasks or receive notifications through your bot. Always configure this to prevent unauthorized access.

Use Cases

1. Mobile task creation — CEO sends a task to the Telegram bot while traveling, and the assigned agent starts working on it immediately
2. Instant notifications — get a Telegram alert the moment an agent completes a task so you can review and approve it without logging in

Tips

• Set up allowed user IDs before sharing your bot — this is a security requirement
• Use descriptive task messages in Telegram so the agent has enough context
• Enable notifications selectively to avoid alert fatigue
